Might want to get yourself a tire plug kit as well. Also a piece of 4x4 to drive on to as well as flammable brake cleaner. (Don’t use staring fluid). I got myself hose kit from TA and bought brass chuck with threaded ends so you don’t have to hold the chuck for 2-3 minutes while inflating a flat.
JolliRoger, tscottme and dave01282000 Thank this. -
I added a quick disconnect to mine so I could pump up a air tank.
I came to work Monday and one tire was unseated.
Now I can pump up air tank. Plug in the chuck. Blow tire up and fill it.
I don't know about plugs though. You'll have a heart attack trying to shove one in a semi tire. Provided you have a good tools and not the cheap kits found at any store.Diesel Dave, tscottme and dave01282000 Thank this. -
I just went with an Amazon special
was going to add the quick connects so I could run air tools if I had to but I started spending money on Milwaukee insteadJolliRoger and dave01282000 Thank this. -

Don't get me wrong, it took two monkeys and an organ grinder to push those plugs in the hole!JolliRoger, snowwy and boneebone Thank this. -

I traded out the one that came on the truckstop orange hose. Picture doesn't show it but this chuck has threads cut into the ends so it will hang onto the valve stem threads. Don't have to get down on your knees to keep it on the valve stem. Push it on, let the weight of the hose pull the chuck down and the internal threads will catch on the valve stem threads.
