Highway 43 is the highway that connects the Yellowhead Highway near Edmonton to the Alaska Highway. Highway 43 is known for speeding trucks that crash a lot.

Well they are certainly flying, as usual on Highway 43.

I imagine that kind of Winter is normal in Canada.I would have shut down till roads are clean and more visibility.

I’m on linehaul and we run in that crap weekly. We never shut down unless highway is closed which has happened twice in my 22 years on my run. Not unusual to run in heavy snow every night for weeks in a snow belt. I can usually go around road closures via secondary highways. The beer must get through!Last edited: Dec 24, 2017
