Nate, maybe you should take a run down the trail known as the Cross Bronx Expressway !! It's most relaxing between 3pm and 7pm weekdays.
CLEARLY this video was done on a Sunday morning based on the lack of traffic !!!!!

Hello All, still running OTR. Changed my work schedule by choice to mimic a 15 / 6. Made a world of difference. Taking time to actually enjoy life a little. First time since my late teens.
Bumped into a Suncor Tech Inspector last week. He loves what he does. Cautions that one must enjoy winter and tolerate insects. He started as Security, and worked his way up, largely due to being cordial, co-operative & considerate. Turned into a 14 / 14 rotation with paid flights. He has fear of flying, so they gave him a van.
I remembered Onetrack's post about Keyano, and Prairie Boy's post, stating that all duties are compensated. With my construction & snow clearance equipment experience, operating & maintaining, I wish to pursue this adventure. It will be fun to learn something new to freshen my career.
Any insight will be helpful. -
Safety safety safety. That's what all the oil companies are worried about. Safe efficient work. Lots of paperwork. And yes you will be compensated well. Good luck and enjoy.

Hi, I have a couple yrs class 1 hwy exp. including 1 yr tanker hauling cryogenics, plus 5 yrs class 3 tanker, also cryogenics. Also military background including a number of overseas tours. I am unable to find work here in BC, and am considering applying for a job in Alberta, hopefully where I'll be able to fly home on days off. My question is, are there any women drivers in the oilfield industry? I haven't seen any posts by any. Though I am used to the military environment where there aren't that many women, and though I do like new challenges and adventures, it still feels a little daunting. I am fit, I grew up on the Saskatchewan prairies so I am used to cold cold winters, but I am not even sure if the (bigger)companies that have been mentioned on this thread would hire women drivers? I appreciate any helpful feedback, maybe suggestions about which companies might be hire a woman driver. Thanks.

From what I've seen. It don't matter if your man woman or ape. If you are capable you will be given a chance .

Yup, just the other morning I was chaining up behind a female N2 driver who was also chaining up, it's a different world these days, not just medics anymore, drivers, pressure truck, frac crew...
