Alcohol linked to pancreatic cancer in addition to seven other cancer types

I used to have a few every time I came back home but the last year I just haven’t been into it.
My mom, her mom and brother were all major alcoholics..all died young. Sad seeing what the alcohol did to them and hardships it puts on the family.

Brother is an alcoholic also but will never admit it.

 

If this is the case, then every young military member has a harsh future ahead of them.

When I was in the Army liquor and beer was used as water!!! There would be multiple dui's in my battalion every month. And hell marines are deployed with beer. So maybe the military should ban alcohol huh?

 

Alcohol used to be the only cause of liver disease since that is the primary place that it is metabolized. Now sugar has taken over the number one cause. But combining those two together is why so many folks now suffer from stage three and four liver disease. My own father died in his 50s from cirrhosis from that.

 

About three quarters of my platoon would spend every dollar they earned when overseas they had on alcohol soon as payday hit, then they would be broke come Monday.
