Back in early 2016 I was pulled over and charged with a dui and also refusal in Florida after leaving a friend's wedding. My license was suspended due to the state law and the charge was later ( reduced ) to a reckless driving. I know that reckless is sometimes looked at as worse then a dui but I technically don't have a dui on my record. Also the refusal was also dropped in the plea.
Fast forward to 2019. I waited 3 years to go by to obtain my CDL which I now have. I applied for a few jobs this week and was ineligible. They sent over my dac and mvr which does infact show the refusal and reckless with the same dates on it. Actually the Dac is clean. Just the mvr shows these.
Seeing how the refusal was ( dismissed ) I did check the box that I never failed or refused and chemical test unaware that it would show as I didn't have a CDL and it that charge was later dropped in court. I talked to fl DMV and they claim it will stay in my mvr for 75 years which will make me over 100 when that falls off. So theres no hope for that to go away I guess.

On a side note, the third party company that pulled the report also shows me a com driver and hazmat on that charge which isn't accurate as I didn't have a CDL then and never held a hazmat. So I am disputing that with hire right.

So as a brand new driver with a refusal that is technically over 3 years old, is there any hope for me to find employment? I asked a similar question on here a while back, looking for an answer on the reckless which seems companies will look past that, but seems the ones I contacted won't look last the refusal. Any help is appreciated. Thx

PS I currently reside in sevierville Tennessee

I have been in touch with Western a few times. Just can't get a straight answer from them as far as money. Because .32 cents a mile doesn't equal 1200 dollars when the average miles are 2000. I know I won't make a lot at first but I can't make 600 a week for the foreseeable future.
