FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. (WJLA/WKRC) - A McDonald's in Virginia has imposed new restrictions following a series of alleged altercations involving students. An Alexandria location in Fairfax County now only allows customers over the age of 21 to dine inside, according to a sign posted outside the restaurant.
The sign states, "Due to repeated incidents of student violence, this McDonald's location is temporarily closed for dine-in service to anyone under 21 years of age. This decision was made to protect our staff, our guests, and our community."
"It’s a great thing," said Tim Perkins, who works nearby. "This is probably the first time in five years that I’ve sat down for 15 minutes in this McDonald's and enjoyed a hamburger."
To enter, customers must ring a doorbell to be allowed entry by an employee. A spokesperson for the franchise said student violence and disrespectful behavior occur at least once a week, causing frustration among staff and customers.

Good for that Mc'D's.
DC and Baltimore have been doing similar with minors at the Waterfront(Dc) and the Inner Harbor(Baltimore). DC banned anyone under 18 from the Waterfront, same with Baltimore. I believe that put in curfew for those areas.
Parents aren't going to do their jobs, then let the businesses do as they need to protect themselves.
Little brats should be locked up instead of being patted on the head and told "Bad!" like their a puppy. Punish the little ######## with something other than "Bad child! Go home to your parents!" and you might see them actually stop the Bull****. Kids/Teens get busted all the time in DC for shoplifting mobs, and all they get is a warning and sent home.
Is jail harsh? sure is, but so is assaults, robbery, shoplifting, and the other dumb **** their doing. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. "Oh but we can't ruin their lives, their kids!" Those same kids grow up to be POS adults unless they are taught there are consequences for their actions. I have no sympathy.
I lived in that area many years ago, and it's gone way downhill since then. An it wasn't perfect back then, but it's way worse now.
Also..I miss the Dixie Pig that used to be there.Great bbq back in the day.
