I hear stories about brokers blah blah. I hear how they take too much off the top but I really see what you mean. I started brokering right when fuel prices went up. I haven't had much success, since I'm only taking maybe $100 after everything. I'm now working for a trucking company and I pull freight and dispatch. I am now on the other side of the table and see just how bad they can be. I will never EVER send a truck into the NE region again. I made maybe 50 phone calls and got the same the best rate of 1.20 mile. Its absurd and when I ask for more they say thats all they have in it!!? I know they have more from being a broker, and I know they arn't going try and move something and only profit $10. This has been a very stressful week.

Good for you Comet. I wish more brokers could see what it is like on the other side of the fence. Dealing with brokers, shippers and receivers can be very stressful work. Driving is the easy/pleasurable part of the job. Keep the shiney side up Driver.
