I found Sherman and Raymond. It looks like a few miles away from where I was thinking. The place I was thinking about was right down by the terminal on Westernselect.

I was out of Woodhaven, downriver area of Detroit.
Gladwin!! Oh yeah!! It's southwest of where I live. I can't remember how far though. I'm up by Alpena, 30-35 miles southwest.

    Are you from Gladwin originally?:biggrin_25525:

Me too!! I'm 45 headed to Springfield Mo. tomorrow to start training with Prime Inc. I have a wife and 4 kids at home with a new born and my oldest will be 7 before I get back for home time. I got my CDL from my local Community College and now I have been accepted by one of the best companies around:biggrin_2559:. We gotta do what we have to do. Thanks.

I wish I would have known about this board 7 years ago when I started driving, I've made a few not so favorable choices in my career but have since worked out the kinks and have a found a good company that I can call home. For you new guys, especially the original poster, have fun, it seems like you're excited so don't let anyone bring you down. If you enjoy what you're doing that's all that counts no matter what anyone on here or in the real world has to say, at the end of the day you and your family are the only ones you need to worry about. Is there good advice on here? Yes....., but are there a lot of negative people? Yes... The negatives definately seem to outway the positives on here, like I've always told myself "don't let other people's opinions affect the things I have going on in my life", it's as simple as that, if you're proud of what you're doing and enjoying yourself that's all that matters...........

The little one hes 2 and a half and when i talked to him on the phone he just keep saying daddy me go me go with you and that tore me up.

If your staying at the hotel dont let the size of the roaches fool ya, they dont bite ,they only want your food. C-1 Indy is a good school, study the pre trip and you'll do fine.
