not exactly a true statement. YOU ran illegal by choice. why people dont get that is beyond me. only a driver has the ability to refuse to run illegal. if all drivers would take a stand, it might make a little difference.

When you're only paid 25-30 cpm and zero benefits, "running illegal" is sort of understood by all parties. It's run the way they "want" you to or have to seek employment elsewhere [that may not exist to take your bad driving record/history]. In the culture these operators come from, this is just standard operating procedure.

These sorts of carriers attract drivers with few options, and drivers with few options enable these types of carriers. It's a vicious cycle with one perpetuating the other. It's good to hear at least a few see the light and "escape", and say "no more". But why they took the job at such an outfit, and were later surprised is beyond me. Isn't it common knowledge what to be on lookout for if this is not your style?

Man how can one not research company before going to work. I can read them when I'm on the phone interview. The outlaw type appeals to some Drivers if you have a clear mvr and good work ethic by all means seek the best. This website is knowledge to give you insight .. I know everyone has a different point of view but so far this site been spot on...
