Allen Lund (a big company I know) promised to pay $8000 for a load from AZ to FL plus a full days detention and redelivery of their bad product on another business day. All was well and good until it came time for them to pay up for the services rendered. It has now been 6 months since payment was due and they have my company doing circles to constantly prove that we were not at fault for this bad product. We have paid for reefer printouts, mechanic inspections and even contacted their initial receiver and got a statement from them that the damage was not temperature related. Allen Lund still refuses to pay and trying to pass the claim somewhere else! Now we are forced to hire a lawyer and get into a legal mess with them. Stay away if you can...
Allen Lund unfulfilled promises

Opus, TB John and bryan21384 Thank this. -
I haul Allen Lund loads very frequently. The question here is, why did they consider the load bad?

I hauled many palletized loads of grass seed out of Southern Arizona for Allen Lund , they always paid a 30 day net , pretty solid in my eyes minus your snafu , brokers name was Al Farr my old dispatcher from Schanno.
Good Luck ,,, im pretty sure they will sort it out., keep us posted on the outcome. -
Schanno is a name I havent heard in many years. What ever happened to them shiny rigs?
Lonesome Thanks this. -
Stainless trailers yeah man , they got bought up by a guy named Grojean then he sold it to Hirshbach , yeah we had a lot of Monfort lane trucks for sure.
Have a Merry Christmasbzinger and IH Truck Guy Thank this. -

where was the rejection in FL - most recievers will have issued a notice of rejection. If you spoke to the receiver - ask them for a copy, find out why it was rejected in writing. Was the load FOB or Delivered- should say on your BOL. Contact the person who hired Lund. -
