    Do not go to this trucking school. I was given a verbal commitment by the owner that I would receive my $500 deposit back if my financing options were unable to pay the remaining tuition (4500) the first day i was there as long as I found out by the second day. I told them the second day I would not be able to pay, filled out the refund form and left.

    Guess what? No check has been sent back to me. I was told once by the office staff that the check was sent in the mail weeks ago. That was a lie.

    Now I am being told that it may be sent on a thursday.

    No way can this school be trusted.

    I 'interviewed' with one of their salesmen 20 years ago in a hotel room in Greenville, sc that he was using to check out prospective students. They used to run a really slick ad and tv campaign even back then.

    Never will forget the guy or the experience. His name was hugh. Typical salesman, bright red jacket, plaid pants and brown/white wing tips. It's like he read the stereotype handbook and followed it to the letter. Way beyond pushy and hard sell and to this day remember the way he looked at me, slammed his notebook shut, and told me he had other appointments with people who could pay and were interested in investing in their future when I told him there was no way I could come up with that much money.

    $5000 even back then in 1994. No payment plan, no down payments, all up front.

    Struck me as a shady out for profit outfit even back then.
