Was trying to find a thread that works for this post. If this doesn't fit, feel free to move..

I'm currently almost to my 2nd year in my driving career. I've been looking into moving to another carrier, but was wanting to see which carriers out there either for regional or LTL are decent to work with?
I've been searching mainly off Google to find some reviews on companies... But... Of course. Every company has a bad review, and is usually more bad reviews than good..

I recently moved to PA, in Hermitage. I found one company from Zip Recruiter, and talked to a guy (that sounds like he's not an ACTUAL recruiter for them, afaik.. But anyway.)
He told me some information about the pay, such as how many miles you drive and the different mileage pay for regional. I don't remember all the details, as I spoke to him last month and had to explain I can't make a decision right now as I have a court date for a traffic ticket (wasn't a DOT reportable, as it was in a car, but later it was dismissed.)

So, I'm asking what may be anyones experience with Metropolitan, mainly for regional and how is the hometime and miles? I'd like to hear for any other companies as well.. Also, does K&S Kinard hire this far East of PA?

    Thanks.

I would hit the the major LTL companies first, R&L, Estes, Old Dominion etc. Bound to find a wealth of information on them here. At some point I wouldn't mind trying line haul/regional and I would only be interested in the big companies.

Talk to Nelson about Red Classic. If you let them know that you are ready to move on, they will really work hard to make you want to stay.

Line haul jobs are really good and usually terminal to terminal then drop & hook.
Old Dominion is big in PA.
    Estes Express
    Saia
    R&L Carriers

I've looked at those carriers, but I don't have Twins or Hazmat endorsement. I believe I saw somewhere a company can help you get that, but may be I read wrong, can't remember the name.
This may not be a big deal to them, but I'm just seeing some are a good few hours away and one was about an hour.. I'm sure I'm thinking to much into this on how far the terminals are from my new home town.

Only with LTL if it's a union job you start @ the bottom. But, wish you the best of luck!
