Hey. I worked at a gas hauling company back in November. But the boss put me on medical leave of absence when I wanted to quit even though I specifically told him not to. Idk why. I think he thought I'd come back and he'd save on his new hires or I really have no idea. month later in January he sends me a message saying he was going to terminate for not filling out the paperwork. I thought I was fired/quit but I guess not. So I tell him what's going to be on my DAC report. He basically told me he was finding out and him and this lady from HR just completely stopped talking to me. So I had to find that lady's boss from HR online and she seemed to get it all straighted out j hope. Well that was on the 29 of April this year. So I'm coming up on 6 months of not driving on OCT 29. Can I drive for trucjing company after not working that long? And hopefully on my DAC it will say my lady day was on April 29 bc the lady seemed hesitate to tell me that. Bc she was all like well you were supposed to be available for drug test and I told her I was sopossed to have quit but my boss put me on medical leave after I told him not to and it's not fair its going to show up on my DAC report as I got fired for not having a doctor fill out my medical leave paperwork. She was like yeah. So I asked her what was going to show up as my last day. She said today which was back in April and my lady active day was in NOV. I told her it can't have 2 dates and I need to know what y'all.sre going to out on my reports so I know what to put on my application. So yeah that's my story. Let me know it anyone is confused. Or knows about any company who will hire me after 6 months off.

How much experience do ya have? Don't worry about dac unless you are looking at working for a mega. @Chinatown will be by to give you some suggestions.

The Fair Credit Reporting Act, the law that covers DAC/Hire Right, allows you to dispute any entry on your DAC. You have the right to 1 free DAC report per year. You have the right to submit a statement about an entry whic DAC must distribute to anyone requesting your report. The rules dictate how long that statement can be.

When you request a free report it will take 15 days whether you request an email version or snailmail version.

Check Craigslist. Small companies don't use DAC and there's plenty of them on Craigslist.

I would just start putting apps on and see what companies have to say.

I have a little over 2 years experience. Well my last company said there going to put I quit for my own reasons and I'm still hireable. Well see. But I guess I'll call around asking how long I last had to be active to drive for them.

The limit is ten years. Then companies shy away from you.
