Almost a year of lurking, finally saying hello!

I go by 5thgear, a name given by my trainer because apparently it's my favorite gear. I'm 29 year old father of 4, first in my family to go OTR. My brother is a logistics operator, he got me into it with the alure of money. Started trucking 8 months ago with a larger company and am finally getting comfortable. It's gotten easier to be away from home the more miles I've gotten. I just figured it was time to come here and introduce myself since I've been on these forms reading for over a year. So hello folks.
