I took the written test earlier today, I got a 90% on the General Knowledge, and a 100% on the combination test. However, I didn't quite pass the Air brakes test. Will do that on Friday. Instead of paying $1000's for driving school, should I just go to a company that hire, trains, and make me sign a year agreement or should I find a way to pay for the school? I am quite sure this question has been asked many times but I want to get some fresh input on this.
Almost passed the written test

If you have the money pay it.
If you don't, you gotta pay with a year.Dominick253 Thanks this. -
Talk to CTL Transportation about paying for your school. They're based in Tampa. This company did have their own school somewhere in Florida, but don't know if they still do or not. They may pay for private school; call and ask.

If the question is should you pay out of pocket or sign the contract, read and understand the contract before you make that assessment.
As far a I am concerned, the best way to get the CDL is study and take the tests on your own and avoid school if at all possible.
