I'm going to be coming down I-24 to Nashville, then east on I-40. Usually I take the Briley around Nashville, but with I-24 closed just north of there I need an alternate route. I'm thinking of Tennesse HYW 45 through Lakewood... Everything I can find (Truck atlas, GPS, Google Maps, etc.) says its a legal truck route. But I would like some other opinions, local knowledge would be greatly appreciated.
Edit: BTW... I will be coming through there in the middle of the night so traffic isnt a concern... I dont think.

Article in OverdriveOnline says traffic from I-24 eastbound is being diverted to Old Hickory Boulevard (Hwy 45) at Exit 40 and routed to I-65. Probably be a cluster unless you hit it in the wee hours.
