Aluminum polishing? What are your best tips?

LoL..I hear ya...I wax my truck at least once a year ,sometimes twice. Its a company truck but nobody else ever drives it and I park it at home so I keep it shiney..polish them ol' rims whenever they get the least bit dull...lol

It's expensive but I've heard good things about using SharkHide sealer. It's applied after your done polishing and it is supposed to keep it from oxidizing so you can go much longer between polishes.

Make a paste out of baking soda and water.

this is how i do mine
the sanding is only necessary if they are pretty well pitted up. but if there pitted its a lot quicker to sand them first.

Go to getyourshineon.com and buy the starter set. I did and I love it. It’s bundle of stuff from renegade and it works

I ended up using a paste then using flour to take the paste off. Really cheap and easy!! Thanks guys!!
