    I don’t believe you can haul gas ina stainless barrel……. But I might be wrong but I doubt it.

    now the subframe can be stainless……

    As far as hauling refined fuels it’s all about loading. All fuel racks use a 6 inch riser and a vapor recovery system. Plus, a scully system. I have never seen a stainless chemical tanker set up for that.

    There are a variety of vapor return systems for 407's, some customers require it for chlorinated solvents now. and I do remember seeing an API adaptor on one going out to lease when we shared shop space with All Chemical leasing.

    I also handled a nasty vapor product at Matlack using a 2" s/s ball valve on a washout cap. A corrosive product that was returned and recycled, the plant kept the 'spent' drums in a special room with a 'blow out' wall....like the user of most of the 'nasty' things; they made soap products...

    We have some that are 250 and others that are 265 PSI. 10,600 and 11,600 gallons.

    They're all heavy.
