I went back and read your posts trying to figure out your problems. Your stories jump around.

What I can put together, you first started with PAM last year.

At this point you have a CDL permit, so that means you didn't even complete their training.

Then you have that little deal with HD Express going out with a permit.

Then you go to truck driving school and get your CDL in Lakeland.

Then you get hired with WEL. They send you home for supposingly not disclosing a misdemeanor. You say nothing of a felony there. You also say you flew up there and then in another thread you talk about the long bus ride up there, lol.

Then the Trans Am thing. You say you are rehireable, but in another thread you say they kicked you off the property and had to find your own ride home.

You've been with 4 companies in little over a year and have yet to complete training. You even mention in another post you have a careless driving ticket.

You don't think any of this has to do why you can't find a job now?? :biggrin_2552:

I believe any action that results in being charged with a felony violation will remain on your background check the rest of your life. Unfortunately a Felony and/or misdemeanor can tarnish the record of good men and women until they the day they die. It's is something one needs to accept.

Truth will set you free, but it could make you miserable first.

    Hey LS,

good to see you back here.

We both know this is the worse possible time of year, for jobs in this industry, plus

    you are in Floriduh !!

If squire/knight will take you, go for it. May is really fussy, but maybe they'll take you.

Just like before, get on with whomever will take you. And then stick it out for awhile !!

You need to get some road time in !!!!

    Good Luck !!!

My stories dont jump around at all. You are trying to tie things together when you have no clue what has happened. You are confusing my information and trying to come up with a conclusion of your own which doesn't even make sense. Obviously you have some issue with me, cause you continue to try to make me out as a liar or as if all this is on me. So get the facts straight. Again, I will try to make where you can understand what has happened. I've only been with two companies. HD Express don't count. So here is some facts....apparently you didn't read all the threads cause it doesnt take a rocket scientist to figure it out. It looks like you are just trying to take certain parts of my post and come up with your own reality, you sound like FOX news...lol.

Anyway, I was going to start with PAM and go to driver solutions I think. I couldnt go because I lived to far south in Florida. So that was that.

WEL: I wasn't even up there 24 hours. They flew me up there..while filing out the paper app the lady noticed that I had put down a misdemeanor in 2008, she said why was that not on the online app you submitted...I told her it was, she looked...seen it was, the recruiter messed up, they bought me a bus ticket home cause they screwed the pooch on that one...the ride back was the long ride.

Trans Am: You apparently read everything so you know my life story, you just chose to use bits and pieces in your argument, for whatever reason. That trip to Rockwall was a long bus ride. I did finish training with them, in fact I spent over 4 weeks with a trainer as opposed to 3 weeks, cause we were broke down a lot. It was after training when I tested out that I didnt want to sign a lease..so I flew home on my own dime.

They pretty much kicked me off the property by saying since I wasnt going to lease then there was no reason for me to be there. So I left. Whoopie doo. Decipher that if you must.

Oh and for the careless driving thing. That was back in 2003 not 2004 like I thought. I was 20 years old at the time. I am now 29,and besides a speeding ticket back in 05, is really the only blemishes I have on my MVR. They don't even go back that far, especially since I didnt have a CDL. Have fun analyzing everything. You should really read more carefully.

Yes even though charges were dropped, they are still on there. There is a way I can remove them I think since I wasnt convicted...I'm going to start looking into it. Didn't think it was going to be a issue since they were dropped though. It shouldnt be a issue.

This might be a long shot, but did they ever convict anyone for the felony you were charged with??

If so, perhaps you could indicate that you were charged, but someone else was actually convicted

    Good Luck

I'm not going to say that was right or wrong, what's done is done. For future reference, nobody can make you sign anything. Just remember that if anyone ever tries it again.

You have two things working against you.

#1 You're located in Florida. Many companies will use any excuse NOT to hire you. Based on that reason alone. NO...they won't tell you this.

#2 You have a felony "charge" in your background. Doesn't matter if it was dismissed. It still shows in a deep background check. You are NOT going to have this removed from a deep anal exam record.

Language of the question is everything, when it comes to legal issues and insurance.

If a company simply ask if you've every been convicted. You can honestly answer, "no".

If a company asked if you've ever been charged, you must answer "yes". Or you'll be rejected for lying on your application.

Some felony "charges" will prevent you from entering Canada. Not sure why that is.... But I'm not the one who makes the rules.

    Good luck........

Hey It's not the end of a driving career as long as you are clear and accurate about time and place and can account for the incident if it should become questioned by a potential trucking company. As you will find out some company's have hiring policies about DUI, Accidents, felonies and suspensions foir five years or ten years...

    good luck.
