Started 2 years ago in Oct. Went to millington tn to swift school.
They have not done me wrong so far.Miles fluctuate with freight flow and am bringing in 600-800 take home at 34 cpm so im happy. is anyone out of the greer term or that can give insight on the various dedicated they have for sc based drivers? Other than dollar stores I want to try to get home more often and want to stay with swift if possible looked into local companies and I don't see me being as happy as they may be shady with the way they do things and rather not bounce around companies if swift has what I need
am happy at swift but keeping eyes open

That's great to hear. I think your attitude has a lot to do with it, too.

A lot of people bagg on the mega carriers however you gotta be willing to place yourself with the factors of being with a mega they have lots of freight ,bennys an usually decent tractors ..trlrs tht is a coin toss unless you work a dedicated account ...you mite think the grass is really so much greener on the otherside
Well good luck -
If they treat you good and you have steady work, stay and be content.

It's good you're happy, but you can increase you pay a few hundred a week with a tanker/hazmat company.

There is a dedicated flatbed run, gaffney to high point twice a day, home every night (if you make it) and home weekends. I filled in on that run a few times and the other drivers are very happy. One diamond driver on that account.
