Hi, I am 21 years old and am interested in becoming a truck driver. Now my situation is that I have two 15 over speeding violations. 1. Was in March 07' 2. Was in June 07'. Which lead to a points suspension which took place July 07' and was reinstated March 08'. Do I stand any chance at all? Or should I looking at doing something else? lol.

If you have to ask that question, then you already know what the answer is. Keep your driving record clean, and about June '12 you might be hireable.

    Maybe.

I would say look into something else, the chances of you finding a job in trucking is very slim to none. Especially with all the drivers out here looking for jobs with clean records.

:biggrin_25513:I would look for a different job. You have to many over 15 mph speeding tickets for any trucking company to take a hard look. If you keep your dmv clean, than just maybe in 2 years you might get a look.:biggrin_25511:

Back when I had a suspension 15 years ago, I cooled my heels at a Mailboxes ETC. They're called The UPS Store now.

They're franchised and if the owner is good you have a good customer base.
