South Florida is dead zone is Freight.
Carriers don't want to be forced to send drivers in and out of there for hometime.
Each time would be massive financial hit.

Get a drivers license in better area and you'll be fine.

Try Freymiller, they have a training program as long you already have your cdl and I’ve met a bunch of drivers from Florida who drive there.

When I was 18, I use to cross lines back and forth from Cali to Arizona, and Nevada, never was questioned. Btw, I didn’t know that law/rule. So it never crossed my mind nor the Owner/Op I drove for back then.

Now they shut the truck down. The owner or company rep. has to go get the truck and pay the huge fine before moving the truck.

If you got on the dock. At a less than load carrier. That might be a good side step. You have a cdl you will have a chance to move over to it. If your 18 that makes hard, insurance dictates the industry. As far as what drivers they can hire.

You’re very close to a Publix DC In Deerfield Beach…it will behoove you to go apply for a loading dock position. Then take advantage of their dock to driver program.

Would be a solid career opportunity that pays top tier.

    lual and Speedy356 Thank this.
