I have a misdeminor from 2006 and was in a accident last year with my last OTR company but it was just a scratch on the guys front bumper. Do companies really care about little things like this?

Yes, companies care; but, there are several companies that will hire you.

IF you came to me and presented it to me as you did, No, I would not hire you.

You do not seem to be willing to take responsibility for screwing up. No matter how small you think it is. How are you going to handle it when it does matter.

    Just my opinion is all.

Misdemeanors typically arent a big deal provided its not for theft. Most companies allow 3 accidents in three years as long as there are no fatalities. As long as you have a good CSA rating you have nothing to worry about. Call companies.you are interested in. we are drivers not companies, ony they can tell you for sure. Worse they can say is no, then you call someone else.
