So I came to this company for heavy haul. Never done 1099 before. But this company is making me pay for things out of pocket then therefore to be reimbursed. Also I was over weight by a hair coming through scales and they are charging me for a crane to come move my load back. I am being charged escrow, liability, tools, fedex for trip packs, eld. Etc. i have been nothing but going broke as a company driver. Thoughts? Is this legal?
Am I liable for costs as a 1099 employee
