OK I need to know if I am making decent money compared to other companies. I work for Jb hunt and have been driving for about 4 years, if I get 2500 miles in a week and after taxes and medical for a family of 3 and the 401k which is 6 percent I take home about 700 so what do you guys think, thanks

That's probably about average and what I was doing at a common carrier for my first 3 years.
I'm at 4 1/2 years now and moved to a private fleet a year and a half ago and wouldn't even leave the house for that now lol
If you've got a clean record with 4 years in you can bump that up by about 50% if you can get in with a good private fleet. -
When comparing pay its always best to use your gross earnings

What company pays good and has good benefits most say 50 or 60k but that's what Jb hunt said too I am tired companies bull about how much they say they pay
