Took that picture from a Chinese website similar to Amazon. Boots like that are popular in China. All 3 of those in the pictures are common there.

They start wearing heels in elementary school. They start with heels about 1/2 inch tall and by the time they're in high school they're in stiletto heels. At this point, wearing flats is painful because the calf muscle is shorter and has to stretch to wear the flats.

I hauled a huge gear one time. It was for a new ski lift being built on top of a mountain in upstate New York. Got the load in California. The gear was so large, they had to tilt it sideways then weld bracing to the lowboy trailer to hold it. The company was irregular route, so very interesting loads.
One time the company got 30 loads of electrical cable going from New York City to Seattle,WA. Picked up an Army truck then at Ft. Lewis,WA and took it to Wilmington, North Carolina. What was funny about that is we ran paper logs and I left Ft. Lewis the same time as a husband/wife team. I arrived at Wilmington,North Carolina the exact same time as the husband/wife team. They couldn't believe it and seemed a little upset about it. I faked them out by acting really refreshed and rested, when in fact I felt like I could sleep for a month.

They welded bracing right to the trailer? I bet your boss was thrilled his trailer was ruined.

He didn't care; it didn't hurt the trailer.

...In a way that's visible to the naked eye.

Years ago I had a welder tell me once that you weaken an I-beam the moment you strike an arc on it.

There's a reason trailers and trucks usually have stickers on them telling you not to weld on or drill into frame rails.
