Yeah, if you go flatbed you may have a challenge. I'm 5/5 and I have to carry an 8' ladder with me.

Hey, welcome to the forum here, new kid! I'm curious why you would have to carry an 8' step ladder because you are 5-5. Are you saying that if you were, oh let's say 5-8 that you wouldn't need the step ladder? I'm probably just being thick here, but I don't get it. . .

A company I drove for had a midget driver, they had special adapters made to fit on the pedals so he could reach, he also trained, 5'4" shouldn't be a issue

Man! I'm 6' and I carry a 8' ladder, I've pick up some tall loads, (pre-loaded) needing padding, and unless your 12' tall your going to need a ladder to reach the top, and at my age, I'm no monkey, so trying to crawl up those loads not happening

Are you trying to say you're almost as old as an old fart like me and a few others? :biggrin_2559:

I'm 5' 5" and the only truck I've had a problem with was Pete 379. The clutch pedal comes up out of the floor and not from under the dash. As such, when I needed to put it to the floor, I had to raise up out of my seat. Otherwise, I've been driving for nearly 20 years without a problem.
