I'm 5'10" tall and weigh in at a staggering 135 lbs. Never had an issue, and I've been driving for 18 years.
In fact my issue is comical. I don't fit the stereotype, so many people do a double-take when they see me climb out of my truck.
Am I too short to drive a 18-wheeler?

I'm a guy, lol.
I regularly exercise, which is why my weight is so low.
Im also part Native American, and that does two things for me. I look a lot younger than what I actually am, and I can't grow facial hair. When drivers see me in reality, most of them have a hard time believing me when I tell them how long I've been driving. -
At 5'4" I don't think you're likely to have too much trouble. I'm 6'5", and lemme tell ya, some days what I wouldn't do to be a little shorter....
Tennesseahawk Thanks this. -

I'll just say one word about "skinny Indians." Paiute.
As to the facial hair, I hear you on that. But by golly, I keep trying! Had a skin lesion removed from my face by the family doc a few years ago. He looked at my so called "beard" and ask me, "WHY BOTHER?"
(My response was My WIFE LIKES IT???) -
