I think I'm just going to go to school and get my CDL and see what happens after that. If the school can't help place me somewhere then I'll start searching for companies that aren't so strict in their requirements.

Why not go to a company that pays for your training?

That's a good start, I can hardly imagine they haven't bumped into a similar situation. Maybe they can give you some pointers on what other documents you could use.

I find it hard to believe that a letter from a random person that could be telling a story is enough to convince them. I could have anyone do that.

You never know it's worth a try.a company wanted two people to verify I was unemployed and taking care of my mother when she was alive.the two people was my Dad and neighbor.companies need something to file.

Just in case I can't find an OTR job after school, what else is there that I can do with a CDL?
