didn’t jive with paperwork (insurance, cab card, etc.) and it resulted in a shutdown order and/or a fine.TB John and LoneRanger Thank this. -

Well, their view is it was brokered or subbed out in violation of the agreement, regardless of whether you did or not, the DOT inspection didn't match up to your company name.
Amazon doesn't care, on paper it looks like you took the load out under your name and another company hauled it....end of contract. Time to find other freight as a far as Amazon is concerned you are done. -
you did everything wrong.
yes yes you leased the truck or short rented it. Do you honestly believe we believe that. Not a question.
here is what happened.
you booked a load, truck broke down or didn’t, doesn’t matter. You then gave that load to your “friend” or he had to recover it. Amazon got hold of inspection report or you listed for inspection as result of being late, then you did a quick rental agreement, to try and cover your bases after Amazon found out.
what you failed to realize is, the truck picking up the load and dropping it off gets photographed, license plates, logos, color and all.
So when Amazon found an irregularity it suspended your account.
Nothing you can do at this point. -
88 Alpha, Albertaflatbed and TB John Thank this.

In addiction, most contracts stipulate that the contractor can only haul for said company . Uber and Lyft have similar business models.
Therefore, if a contractor gets into an accident, kills someone, or gets hurt, these companies don’t have to pay a dime or get any bad publicity. It’s all on the contract provider. -
Can't get a load over 1.70 a mile wit amazon relay because the use of that booking software they have.....SMH don't waste your time

Amazon is one of those companies where the "juice isn't worth the squeeze". They want you to go through all sorts of "training" on their platform. Videos, quizzes, etc. Basically you have to jump through hoops. And for what? To haul loads for $1.60 a mile? Gimme a break. Not only that, but their reps are totally inept and lazy. They don't seem to want to do their jobs.
I took a backhaul from them from the DFW area back home to Vegas. The load was posted really late. I guess someone canceled or something. Anyway, despite it being a SOLO trip, they had the delivery down as 30 hours later. Basically, the next day in the early afternoon. The trip was over 1200 miles and it paid about $2.80 a mile. So for me I was tickled pink, because I had been on the road for almost 5 months and was itching to get home. So I notified them on their app that the load info had to be changed/corrected to reflect a delivery time about 44 hours later. They assured me it would be taken care of. They never did, despite me emailing them and calling them at least SIX times. The reason I care is because instead of me having a 100% on-time rating, I now have a 67% on-time rating. All because those BUFFOONS can't do their jobs. Does it really matter in the grand scheme of things? Not really, because their rates are downright DISRESPECTFUL. I only use them when it suits me unequivocally.
I really wish that 100% of all truckers boycotted Amazon for a week just to teach them a big lesson. A foolish pipe dream...TheLoadOut and Lonesome Thank this. -
Lonesome Thanks this.
