Amazon Relay WARNING to all drivers, Account Suspended! NO REASON

    I got an e mail from one of my regular Landstar brokers back in late Mid Nov saying:
    I told her I would want $2.75 a mile plus fuel and said there was no way they were going to pay that much so I wouldnt be holding my breath.

    Needless to say, I didnt get it.

    I wasnt upset either.

    But that message the OP posted does sound to me like Amazon is just thinning out the herd.

    I won’t be surprised when this blows up and a law suit comes out of this. Something really is fishy about the way they’re randomly suspending accounts under the pretense of fraud.

    Peak season is over, kids. Time for Amazon to flex those right-to-work muscles.

    And I know these are carrier contracts and such, but RTW laws are just one of many that have weakened the average person's rights while dealing with larger corporate entities.

    Get more money, buy some justice. I guess.

    Anything to get rid of those they no longer need, I suppose. Maybe they think that long-term carriers might start asking for friendlier rates down the rate due to the past relationship, so they wipe the slate clean as best they can each year.

    Amazon has a reputation for treating their employees like dogs so why would anybody think they would treat their contractors any better.

    This happened to me as well. No reasoning behind the decision. Nobody to speak to at amazon to resolve the issue and when you do get someone on the phone, they tell you to send an email. Very frustrating company , no wonder carriers are stealing freight from them. They're just robots behind a computer screen with no knowledge of the trucking industry getting paid hourly. Went through 3 different accounts without any reasoning or answers to their decision to suspend my account and they owe me over 15k on 3 loads that we shown PROOF OF DELIVERY and submitted a dispute just like they told us to. Told them to ESCALATE THIS TO YOUR MANAGER NOW. been 6 months and still no payment from them.
