That would require reading their contract, which I'm sure they didn't and I'm not sure they have the ability to comprehend it even if they did read it

I doubt it will be a simple as that. My guess is that they aren't signing broker freight contracts so much as becoming "independent contractors". I know Schneider ICs can't file on Schneiders bond, nor can our third party carriers. There is a specific process they must follow.

Either way I doubt either of these guys have read their contract, and if they did I doubt they understand what it means.

As a carrier, ive never pulled Amazon, I think/thought those that pull Amazon are all carriers with there own MC's. Not like "owner operators" who lease to Schneider.

I guess what I meant was, sometimes when carriers pull for a direct customer you deal directly with the customer and not the shippers broker MC(which can be filed on). Its tougher to get money from a shipper that you have an agreement with if you dont pull the load under a broker MC

And that's what I assume they're dealing with, or some variation thereof.

Reading between the lines, it also looks like they allowed other drivers to use their agreement. Drivers who had already been kicked off of their own contract.

I'll end by saying there are very good reasons why most of the megas limit the amount of Amazon stuff they do, particularly dc to dc loads.
