Wasn’t their a thread a few years ago about a Amazon contractor chasing his trailer for months… also many about guys waiting two weeks to unload their trailer.. I gotta wonder if the extra money supplying your own trailer is worth it lol

Have your attorney send a letter of demand not sure of the legal term)
Giving them a time frame to pay your expenses and come get thier product stating a clear date.. If no action taken its yours sell it off to recover at least some of your losses.

I don't think he can just declare that he is going to take their property and then take it. I'm pretty sure he needs a lien first since he didn't contract for that particular load. I'm also pretty sure he does have some kind of general contract with Amazon which probably has some language about disputes. He may have to pay Amazon's legal fees if he sues, or he may have to submit to arbitration. One hour with a lawyer would settle what options he really has.

OP you do need to keep in mind that in general tort cases and in contract dispute cases the injured party has an obligation to minimize their damages. You can't just let damages pile up indefinitely. A judge will ask why you waited four months and may not let you charge for all that time. You need to get off the dime.

On the flip side of this story there’s a guy on Instagram that’s been pulling the same Amazon trailer for almost a year now and hauling everything under the sun in it.

I know there are different legalities to each situation but starting any of the processes start with formal demands.
I have attained things abandon before and have had to do liens as well.
That's why I said have your attorney start the process, they know the laws that will apply but I doubt this is covered under his contract and if it is he was foolish to sign it
