    The key is to get off on the right foot with them. I often put my hat and sunglasses on just to he can see me take them off. That shows them I know the drill and we're both professionals here. Stereo off. CB off. Dash cam off. Phone off. Cut the engine and roll up to the booth silent with the truck in gear, let clutch out and leave truck in gear so you don't have to set the spring brakes. ACE folded once with the entry number written on it and placed in the passport at the correct page. "Good morning sir".

    Yeah, they seem to be pleasant almost all of the time.

    I had one that I kept getting on a number of day trips over into Canada, I think out of 7 trips in one day, I had him 6 times. He was not pleasant to deal with toward the end of the day and kept asking me the say the street name that the company was on - hard French name to pronounce which I don't remember - and every time I said it, I messed it up and he got crabby with me and slowly pronounced it as if I was a school kid.

    My first time to Listowel, ON I mispronounced it and was quickly corrected by customs.
