We get loads out of Eau Claire from menards . Also get Ashely furniture and loads of rubber out of Wisconsin that go to NC . I have gotten Hallmark loads in appleton area that go to Liberty Mo. Also.

    That's actually not completely correct.

Not sure about the studio sleepers... There was 5 last year as trainer trucks but now we're down to 3 and I believe the 2 660s were leased last year. I'll find out for you and will post.

As far as the lease... 4000 (weekly payment) get used 660s 2011 and newer. Mostly 2012s.

8000 series (per mile lease) get the same right now and at least till end of May or so. There was a couple new 680s that were leased but that's not going to happen again for awhile or unless someone quits and turns in a 680...which technically wouldn't be new any more ;)

    Hope that helps. ..

Dang. I really want a studio 660. Maybe marsha could help me out ? I want the shortest lease possible probably so a 680 is out. Thanks for the replies. You guys are great.

Delivered my load to Wisconsin from Tx. Load paid 1010 mi total revenue with xtra stop was 1540.00. After fuel my net was 1000.70 thats just shy of 1.00 mi.

I started out with 1/2 tank fuel so didnt half to buy much to cover the run. I try to have a half a tank a each Mt call. The more fuel you have in ur tanks less you have to buy to cover the run obviously. So i take any drop pay or detention pay i earn and drop it in fuel on top of what i need to cover the run. Overtime i have built up my fuel level so no when im Mt im usually got 1/2 tank .

Next load going to ohio. 313 loaded 213 Mt

Delivered my load to Ohio total revenue was 763.14 i put 263.01 in fuel so my net on this load was 473.13 total miles was 526 . So i made .90 mile on this load and im still sittn on a half a tank of fuel for my next load on Monday . Ill be taken the weekend off.

Recap my week i pulled 2 loads total miles 1536 . Total take home after expenses 615.00 taking 3.5 days off so im good with that.

My total fuel bill for 2 loads was 763.01 = .49mi and i have 1/2 tank left. Next week we do it again .

So do you buy fuel to make sure you have this half a tank even if it means the fuel you buy isn't the cheapest fuel? What about if you ARE buying the cheapest fuel around? Don't you want to buy as much of it as your tanks will hold? I'm just trying to understand your fuel buying strategy.

Yeah I don't understand his logic either. If it was me I would rather have a smaller check one week to get the benefits of buying more fuel in a cheaper state. Just my .02 cents.

Personally I did the same thing when I first started with Act to maximize my paychecks... but after a couple months after I built up my savings, I started looking for cheapest fuel and fueling the tanks all the way. No matter what day of the week or load.

If you stop to just get some fuel few times here and there or follow the fuel solution... most of the time you'll stop more often and waste the "savings" with the stop and go. You burn more fuel from starting again and you burn your elog time...minutes add up during the week, which might mean the difference between another load or longer load.

Same thing with fuel taxes... you can fuel in the more expensive states and pay tax at the pump or you can fuel in the cheapest states, save on fuel and pay tax at the end of the quarter.
