American central transport (lease)

This is my 3 rd week in a row where they dispatch and give you time off between loads . Not hrs but days . Avg 500 mi trips 2 days to deliver then sit for a day do it again.

 

New drug policy as of today. Drug screens require hair samples(11/2). If new hire doesnt have enough hair comeback when it grows back.

 

yea rsearch shows if you have curly hair. not accurate. you also have to be a frequent user. and the hair strand must 1 1/2 long . so i need to grow some hair .

Aslong as they get it right that what counts.

 

Yea weird research says needs to be 1 1/2 stran . And if your hair is long then there only aloud to take 1 1/2 . Not the whole length of hair. African and curly hair have a chemical in the root of hair that triggers a positive. Supposedly that a flag on accuracy.

I talk to 1 driver somewhere TT report had to sign a waiver saying he wouldnt hold screener liable for results. But who knows

 

Kicking but again got a 660 mi run for Thursday delivery today is Tues. Appt only delvry. Its amazing why they do that.

Drivers want paychecks. Alot leave becauze of runs like this. Last week driver in yard said he got a load to his house then was quiting. Abandon another trk . But he didnt care.
Didnt like running 1700 2000 mi week.
There are some drivers home every week here AMAZING how that alwayz works out. And still pay the bills.
Im avg so far this yr. 9101Mi a month . My operating cost .41 mi for fuel . Total income per mi before tax .26mi. My breakeven point 35473 mi. And its only Aug

 

Closer to end of lease worse it gets . was iffered a load Friday oklahoma to ohio for a Wed delivery 1000 mi. Or 1 going to Illinois for a Tues delivery 860mi. these loads can delivery 24 hrs early only so i took the Illinois run . Delivered that load Monday.

Preplanned on a load to Ks picks up Tuesday for Thursday delivery. Im empty on Monday Really. Total mi 670 . They like to make you sit between loads. Never use to be like that.
Total mi in six days 1575. 3 days work in 6 days.Or 260 mi dispatch per day. Its no wonder im avg .26 mi on this lease. Been like this since January.
Went back figured my numbers compared to last year ive lost 7000 in revenue this yr.
