I couldnt answer that honestly . If you call Marsha in recruiting she can give you more detail. I would assume it would have alot to do with the type of accident . regardless im just guessing dont wanna steer you wrong

Any kind of careless or reckless accident they won't take you for either 3 or 5 years afterwards.

@anotherjoe, thanks for all this info you've posted on this thread. I am starting with ACT on Monday, Feb 4 on a lease program. Looks as if you run well and not kill yourself driving you will make some money. I will keep reading the posts.

Welcome aboard The truckdr . Orientation is a breeze hotel is top notch . You will find driving here at ACT isnt about chasing Miles you dont have to run 3000 miles to make a living . You pick the right loads you can run 2000mi and still make 1400.00 . Learning the system is critical to your success . There are going to be ups and downs take notes as much as possible. You have any questions just ask a driver youll find just about all of us are more than willing to help . Ive been driving for 22yrs this is by far most relaxed enviroment to work in just plan your day and have a game plan for your week and enjoy the ride.

This company isnt gonna tell you how to run your business. Its your business to run and they respect you for that. stay positive ask questions and good luck

Made that run from Ky to Ks dropped it in the yard it had a big window for delivery. So I decided to do a 34 reset then got dispatched on a load Sunday going to MN with an extra stop. Picked up that load Sunday and delivered 1st stop day early . I Arrived at consignee but they closed so we will catch them in the morning. Then its off to the races for another load in MN 87miles deadhead going to Ohio for a drop. 709mi loaded.

    The load i got in KS paid 462mi i burned 62gal of fuel mpg was 7.5 . Revenue was 684.00 + 50.00 = 734.00. I paid 234.00 in fuel so net is 500.00 bucks in a days work .

Monday morning i will have 943mi to start my week load going to Ohio is 796 for Wednesday or as soon as i get there its a drop. Thats 1739mi on Wednesday I can live with that plus i got in a 34 . That pays the bills, everything else i do from Wed to Monday is my paycheck minus fuel of course.

I will Hollar on the next stop

You can run slow, get great fuel mileage, and still be on elogs at ACT. I run 55 almost everywhere I go and rarely need to run faster. Yes, I get as many miles as everyone else, more than some I know. And yes, I've made every delivery on time. Yes, I am in the top ten for fuel mileage for both quarters I've been here. (Third and fourth quarters 2012.) And I am on elogs. It can be done. I don't preach though. My name is on the fuel mileage list. Anyone can look me up and ask for help if they want. No one does, so I just do my own thing.
