I was recently hired by American Jet Carriers. The guy (Harry) had been calling me for some time to come drive for him. I had already given my notice to previous company but decided I give him a try for a short time. His driver picked me up in Georgia. He had already been driving 10 hours without rest before he picked me up. Decided he was not going to scale the load we picked up. Said he never scaled a load. By the time I got to CA Harry didn't even show up to welcome me. Was left out in the cold without a place to stay. Another driver allowed me to stay in her truck. Harry refused to even pay her for her week of work that day. Next day he took $200 from her pay because she went 20 miles out of the way to see her mom. This guy is definitely a sleaze bag. He will not pay me for any mileage I drove. Karma will get him though. He uses paper logs and tells his drivers to tell inspectors they just started with the company if they are pulled in, that way they never have to worry about the 70 hrs. rule. He pays by 1099. He lies about EVERYTHING. Pick up, delivery, route, pay, etc. I was only near him for a few hours and realized that. The employees I spoke with said the same thing.
    Run from this guy (company)
