AmPm Wayne's New Gig

    I thought I would let some of my friends on here know what I have been doing.

    I live in Bloomington,In. Three weeks ago a company owned by Nash Finch opened a food distribution center in my home town.

    There was an ad in our local paper looking for company drivers and three owner ops. to haul groceries out of this new distribution center.

    My Dad checked into it and leased the truck I drive on with QuickWay Carriers which is the carrier for the distribution center.

    I have ran loads for QuickWay for three weeks and so far I am very happy.

    The distribution center is ten miles from my house. All the loads are pre-loaded. All return loads come back to the distribution center.

    Wayne is Quickway owned by Nash Finch? In the area I am in Nash Finchs truck drivers are throught GTL truck lines. Which is owned my Nash Finch. Alot of the guys I talk to are really happy they make milage and when they bump the dock at a grocery store they go to hourly. From everyone I have talked to they take care of guys really well.

    The distribution center is owned by Nash Finch. Quickway is a trucking company contracted to do the trucking.

    We only deliver to Military Bases. We deliver to Ft.McCoy near your home.

    So far it has went well.

    Wow I did not realize that the NF stuff came from all the way out there. I know Ft. Mccoy very well I used to deliver out there twice a wk to the commissary and to the challange academy.
