Fact: The flu on a world wide comparison is right on par with covid when talking about mortality rate. Only a few tenths of a percent difference.
The flu in the US has a lower mortality rate because of access to good medical care and proven treatments. There is however no good medical care or proven treatments for Covid... Hence why there is a vast difference in the mortality rates of the 2 in the US.
My point... On a global scale the flu and covid are virtually equal in mortality rate.Trucker61016 and God prefers Diesels Thank this. -
I'll be letting my immune system handle things. If it isn't enough, well then, I guess I wasn't strong enough to survive. The gene pool will be better off without me.
Medical technology and humans thinking they are smart enough to live forever, if only we come up with the right drugs and vaccines, will be the death of us all.
Like the old Parkay Margarine commercial said, "It's not nice to fool Mother Nature."... and she's going to kick our collective ##### when it's all said and done.Really, homeskillet, Oxbow and 5 others Thank this. -
Its because they're a bunch of arrogant, ignorant ####s.homeskillet, Trucker61016, God prefers Diesels and 2 others Thank this.

The shortages aren’t because they quit over not wanting a vaccine..
Second, yes your ICU beds are maxed out.
Got a minute listen to this woman.
Video Medical director of ICU in Idaho discusses staff shortages -
Your state is in crisis care now.
Lol, the flu in the us depends on vaccines for a low mortality rate.
Yah there’s a vast difference in the us covid mortality rate and its not because of good treatment..
care to post the current mortality rates in the US covid vs flu?
Keep in mind flu deaths are not counted as in not reportable so take your best guess

I dont care about US flu mortality rates... The flu is very well controlled in the US for a variety of reasons. It however is not well controlled on a global scale...
"We estimated an average of 389 000 (uncertainty range 294 000-518 000) respiratory deaths were associated with influenza globally each year during the study period, corresponding to ~ 2% of all annual respiratory deaths."
Global mortality associated with seasonal influenza epidemics: New burden estimates and predictors from the GLaMOR Project -
You never addressed the idiotic graph you posted to me..what happened?
Yah, his state is in crisis care now..how sad.
Maxed out ICU beds only going to those who have a chance of survival..those who have no chance? Too bad so sad? -
I travel all over Idaho and Utah every day... Dont look like no crisis to me... Its business as usual.Oxbow Thanks this.

I live in the US so that’s all I really care about.
Obviously it’s too uncomfortable for you to answer. You’d like to water down the stats by including 3rd world countries that don’t have squat for healthcare or access to stockpiles or influenza vaccines.
Your spin is quite boringMacLean Thanks this.
