Yes. But the loophole was black powder wasn't legally considered a firearm in pa state laws. Therfore no ccw permit and no 21 age restriction. Plus you whip out a glock and everyone's like whatever. You #### the hammer of a classic six shooter and everyone's eyes go big

I wonder something, and this comes from first hand experience, how many of you know how to use a weapon in a close combat range in a split second?

I'm guessing many would end up getting hurt when dealing with some of this scum if you pulled a weapon, knife or firearm.

I can't open or conceal carry (Canada) so my only experience with firearms is on the range. I could probably hold my own in hand to hand. I trained in martial arts for a couple years in my teens. Still know a few good moves.

A knife is a close range weapon. A gun isn't. Big difference.

Of course, being proficient with your gun is a must. One can't simply buy one, slap a loaded mag in it, and think that's the end-all and be-all.

I know the difference but a lot of others don't.

They think that weapon will protect them but then find out that is escalated the situation and they can't use a weapon.

Jesus, that's almost like living in Australia. Except there's snow... and polar bears... and igloos.

Well, at least that's what I hear anyway.
