You will find nice boilerplate from companies trying to show a good image of themselves. Much of that paragraph from the website can be applied to anyone really.
The really good companies quietly prosper and hardly need to hire.

Yeah, but I searched part of the paragraph she posted and it returned, word for word, the exact paragraph on Cam-Scott's home page, except the part where she removed the name.
-
I understand. You can do those kinds of searches. I was expressing the general thought that many companies like to engage in word games of that kind to make themselves presentable. Not necessarily these exact words. If you have endured any amount of business office work you would hear canned sentances like "We are pleased to..."
UGH. lol.Joetro Thanks this. -
Some of those canned paragraphs are just so... artificial. It annoys me. It's like putting lipstick on a pig.x1Heavy Thanks this.

I would sue somebody. That is the American way.

Good attitude and it's a relatively simple paperwork/insurance matter. Bad attitude and cops will be called, more paperwork filed, and a "property damage" crash will show up on your MVR. Yes, concrete block walls can be repaired. Damaged blocks can be removed and replaced...price determined by the complexity of the situation (structural/load supporting or not, etc...). In most jurisdictions, reporting a vehicle crash becomes required once a set dollar value is exceeded...and that includes ALL damage...his trailer, your building, etc...so yeah, while it may be a d!©% move calling the cops, give me a bad attitude after you tear up my property only ensures that it'll happen.
Yeah, 'round here that's a good way to get shot. Even in this deep blue state of Illinois, carry (concealed or otherwise) has ALWAYS been legal without a permit anywhere on your property or fixed place of business...long before permits were a thing. Go onto someone else's property & tear stuff up...and then assault the property/business owner...you get no sympathy from me whatever happens to you after that 1st swing of the fist. -
lol,Don't do what Lush Larry proposes...
See,Here's how it goes folks,
Drivers(Especially new ones) Don't think there should be accountability with their actions.
They Think "Hey,Im an employee" And should be treated like they started working at the Steel Mill or GM plant.
So,When Stress hits them, and damage property, They get mad and think to themselves "WTF,This sucks," And don't care to much to carry on being a driver- ....Happens every day.
You wanna be pampered as an employee?? Trucking aint for you.
But for those out there putting their heart on their sleeve, giving 100% in this Biz......A Starting salary of 70k isn't out of line.
You wanna damage things accidentally and be told "Awe dont worry about it" and pampered, Go to work on a Unionized assembly Line or Pipefitters union.x1Heavy, Joetro and Pedigreed Bulldog Thank this. -
Cam-Scott Transport Ltd. has been in business since 1985, specializing in the service of delivering fresh, frozen and dry loads for local customers, as well as servicing customers throughout Ontario, Quebec and the Maritimes.Joetro Thanks this.

I must be reading this wrong because this seems like 180 degrees from the first post. Is it just me?
Only thing I can explain is the first sentence. In today's litigious world the FIRST thing any attorney will tell you is "NEVER ADMIT FAULT."
From his perspective he's new, he's about to loose his job, probably have his picture all over Facebook, and for all he knows you're about to sue him for millions of dollars.
Get an estimate on the building, probably a patch job. Unfortunately your not going to be able to analyze the structural integrity of a cinderblock without removing it so a proper rebuild would get pricey. Luckily cinderblocks often are compression elements so really a 5 pound bucket of cement and a can of paint you should be good. -
It looks fine to me, if the building was about to collapse then the mortar would be cracked.
