This last page (122) is very misleading. There was no "dogpiling" on after Snackbar started on his latest freakout (maybe "freakout" isn't the right word, but I'm tired right now, you all get the drift). The responses to said freakout were forum members giving their respectful opinions of the situation and most of them wishing Snackbar good luck. None of the responses were out of line and Reo even commented on how good one of the responses were. Snackbar being over dramatic about the situation, which he has a tendency to do in all of his threads, and people telling him that they think he needs to chill out and see what happens, is not "attacking" Snackbar in any way, shape or form.

So when I see responses like this:

Which was led by a comment like this:

Then I can't help but think that the act of writing a paragraphs long angry rant like this (the first quote) about other forum members respectfully giving their opinion to Snackbar and wishing him well, is incredibly "soft".

In fact, I'll go further and say that getting so triggered about forum members respectfully stating their reasonable opinions is more "Male Karen" like (What's the male version of a "Karen", a "Joey" perhaps?) than the people who have said "Hey Snackbar, maybe you should chill out a bit and wait and see what happens before you get so worked up about all of this."

Anger like the quotes that I quoted above are very uncalled for. If any of you on here are that worked up about the responses to Snackbar's latest episode ("episode" is probably a better word than "freakout" I think), go back to page 116, take your emotions out of it and ask yourselves which particular comments were out of line to justify a paragraphs long angry rant like the one that I just quoted above.

And yes, for the record, all the best Snackbar.

@supersnackbar as I mentioned earlier look into cryogenics if you have any facilities near where you live, I have a friend of mine who has been doing CO2 for several years and he’s home all the time and makes over six figures… he didn’t have any cryo- experience either prior to starting. All he had was fuel tanker experience.

If you had been paying attention for longer than just this thread you would know what I’m talking about. This happens over and over from the same people.

You should just leave now. You have stepped into other threads with your point of view and it has turned out bad. I will hold back my comments as I don’t want to get the thread shut down.

Merry Christmas and don’t forget to wear your mask.

Let's keep this thread on track. Petty bickering among two or three members doesn't address the topic.

I don’t know any back story on any of this. I do think he should wait and see how it plays out. After all the same company has owned both carriers for a while now. I gathered from all the other post that job hoping seems to be a pattern. It’s going to be difficult to land a truly decent job with a year here and six months there.

Who knows it make work out well, but there is no point in getting worked up over what may never happen. And if it does then deal with it then, but think it through. Emotional decision making generally never works out for your benefit.

I haven’t checked in the Millis thread. But Heartland destroyed every company they took over.

Wonder how Smith Transport is doing?? Never heard much about them even pre-buyout.

    Swift has ruined a few.

I went through an oilfield buyout. It was bad.

My dad went through a couple working in the same steel mill for 30+ years. They were all bad.

Odds definitely aren’t in his favor.

One of the biggest problems with buyouts is usually he person who started the company and busted their tail getting the company to where its at retires and the people who take over dont care what happens for the most part.

They may not be, but is this really a takeover? I mean they have both been under the same umbrella for a number of years. I honestly don’t know. I’m just saying don’t cut your nose off to spite your face.
