The dynamics of the downward gravitational forces were not that difficult to anticipate by the amount of truck and trailer orders and their price increases.
I wish there were possibility to calculate a given time period capacity but judging by the above, in the last 12 months it must have been the highest ever.
If someone wants to cash out on their old clunker trailer it may be the last moment to do that, if it is not past that already.

Trucking is always the first into a recession and the first out of a recession.
Or are we just in a slow down because people and business bought up all they could to preempt inflation.
Or will the stock market crash 80% and put us in the greatest depression.

Used equipment prices will come down when places actually have inventory and can’t get rid of it. I doubt new equipment prices will come back down (I’m talking actual purchase price of the person who orders it, not secondary prices on equipment people bought and are flipping) because everything to manufacture trucks and trailers has gone up.

 

And the price of fuel going up again…rts giving a measly 5c discount off the pump price
