Started school on Monday the 24th of July and completed the four required tests plus tanker today. 135 total questions....missed four. This is not a "company" school, for me, although there are some CRST students in the class. Nice facility, great instructors, from what I've seen, a really new simulator with three screens and 10 speed manual. This should work well for what I desire.

Let uzs know if you can grind the gears, and how it 'simulates' that.

Grinding gears in the sim would be a lot cheaper than grinding on the range or road. Will do.

    For EVER~! ;)

What are you gonna pull after school; any ideas on the company choice? In Texas (like Ohio) you sure have a good handful of choices, for sure.

1.) McElroy Truck Lines, flatbed, 5 state regional, TX, OK, AR, LA and little east NM.....home EVERY weekend.....48/mile to start.
    2.) Maverick...glass division out of Corsicanna, TX....home about 40-45 weekends a year....
3.) A & R logistics.....bulk tanker loads with NO endorsement needed, all they haul is plastic pellets for mold injection.....nice long hood Pete's.

    We'll see.....

Man, they ALL sound really decent. Didn't know you were considering flats or tanks right off, but that's awesome. I would go with #3 personally, but that's what I do....tanks with Pete's.
You'd just need the tank endorsement, non hazmat, right?

According to A&R no tanker endorsement is required but I got it today for more doors to choose from.
