thank you for doing this, it has been extremely helpful. i am currently trying to get into steven cdl school in Denver and you have answered just about every question i could have thought of. i see it has been since Feb since you have posted i was curious if you could give an update on how things have been going. also any information on home time would be great like how hard has it been to get it scheduled, do you take the truck home with you, and any other things you may want to share. on a side note i live in las vegas so idont know if there are many runs thru here to make time home any easier.

I wonder what percentage of "Lease Operators" finish a lease, paid and buy another truck at Stevens.

 

The lease at Stevens is not a lease purchase. They will sell you a truck if you want, but that is different from the lease.

 

What happened to Capper17? No word for a while.

 

I sent him a PM a few weeks ago and never got a reply. Maybe he quit the business?

 

Many new drivers start a thread thinking they'll keep it up, then get into the day-to-day business of operating a truck and quickly learn how difficult it is to open up the page and do regular posts. And how short a 10 hour break is when you're bone tired from driving 10 hours or so!
