Well.... One cannot expect people driving trucks in USA to distinguish specific Slavic languages. To say someone speaks with Russian accent is just a way of saying that he must have been a White Volvo guy, implying that he is an Eastern European guy....Could be a Middle Easterner or a Turk too, but they don't speak with Slavic accent. Romanians and Albanians don't either - they don't sound "Russian". However no White Volvo was present this time. Wonder if White Volvos sales dropped in recent years...that particular color.
