    just finished TWIC card app here at the port for hauling slag. hopefully it gets done quicker cuz i already have my hazmat endorsment. next step, port badge...

    I was running containers to the Port of LB and I think it took a week to get the card. I got my HAZMAT 6 months later and didn't have to do the FBI check again. Just gave the date of getting my TWIC and it was all good.

    Interesting, a few years back when I renewed my hazmat and they started that fingerprint deal they would accept my twic as a crudential.
