I got a load this morning from the terminal in Martinsburg WV going to a drop yard just outside Buffalo NY. when I get of the exit to my final and I'm seating at the traffic light my air buzzer goes off. So I sit there a second and let the pressure build back up and proceed a mile down the road to drop yard.
This is just a yard that Swift rents space. There was another Swift drive there and I asked him to apply the brakes and i would go under the truck to see if i can hear were the air is leaking from.
So I send a message to on road and they send me to the TA in Pembroke NY to have it check out.
The main ABS part of some sort went out and they have to order it in the am.
Hopefully by noon I should be good to roll.
I had a live load in Cuba NY # the Pepsi plant going back to Nashville TN.
I also have home time for this coming weekend and sure hope they get me back.
I haven't been home in over 5weeks now and I sure do need a brake, Do ya think

Just another bad day for me.
    Is someone testing me???
Is this the real Swift or am I just having a run of bad luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I personally think you're having a bad run of luck. You're in my prayers.

Tout this one up to gaining more experience. Like TN said, you're just having a string of bad luck. You're getting the kinks out. Once everything's freshly ironed out, you won't even think about this stuff.

Now wait until you have a bad month. This past week or two won't matter.

Oh gee! Everything's been just lovely for me. :biggrin_2559:

Hey, the hometime will work wonders. You're taking the bull by the horns and doing what you have to do to get the freight to the customer. Good on ya!:biggrin_25514:
