At home now waiting out this storm and packing up for our vacation.

It will be the first time in a long time that I actually took a full week off and went away. (Thanks Ashley)

Me and the wife are Escaping to undisclosed locations along the coast :).

When I return work (Ashley Furniture), they will be setting me up to run out of the PNW dept.

Apparently they use a different fuel card. So they will be giving me a new one.

Also, they will probably need to give me some sort of orientation on how they dispatched loads etc..

This should be interesting and can't wait to see how it goes.

    Keep on trucking..

Stonehjl, dwells40, Rugerfan and 2 others Thank this.

Side note: In the meantime I am also going to be working on restoring my pickup. Yayyy!! Been wanting to do this for a long time now.

Cost of new trucks today are ridiculous, so the wife and I decided to fix it up.

Got a lot to do on the ol boy (Thunder). F150 4x4

He is going into the shop tomorrow to kick things off with a new fly wheel, replacing the back seal and servicing the front differential. Hopefully everything goes smoothly

Nice truck..definitely would be worth more fixing it up than buying new these days..

    Hello Andrew,

I see you're going to the PNW, What made you leave where you are, you decided to join them, or Ashley just transferred you?

Hope you enjoy your vacation sir.

    atruckr Thanks this.

Thank you.. totally agree. Plus it's gonna be a lot of fun fixing it up. I bought it new back in 2004.

Be safe!! We still have two sons living in SoCal so we are worried parents....

Are you going to be able to keep your current truck or are you going to have to move into a different one now that your on a different account?

    atruckr Thanks this.

They called me and asked me to go based on recommendations from my dispatchers knowing how I like to run. It sounds like it will work out good for me. We shall see

    dwells40 and Bumper Thank this.
